Robert Drummond

President

Robert Drummond was appointed President of First Global Financial Services Limited, effective November 1, 2008. Mr. Drummond is also the CEO of FG Funds Management (Cayman) Limited, GraceKennedy’s mutual funds management business. Prior to his appointment, he also functioned as Principal of GK Investments, developing, executing and integrating mergers, acquisitions and new business ventures. Read more


Dean McDonald

Vice President - Portfolio Management

Dean McDonald joined First Global Financial Services on April 1, 2004 in the capacity of Research Manager and was promoted in July 2005 to the position of Assistant Vice President - Economic Analysis and Research. A further promotion has resulted in his current position as Vice President for Portfolio Management & Research. In this capacity, Mr. McDonald main focus is to generate revenues for the company through the building and management of investment portfolios using the company's products as well as providing advice to clients on their portfolios in accordance with their respective objectives. Prior to joining First Global, he held positions of Risk Manager and Market Risk Manager at Citibank as well as that of Business Analyst at Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited. He was also an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica. Mr. McDonald is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics and a Master of Sciences degree in Economics.



Clover Moodie

Vice President - Financial Control

Mrs. Moodie has over 10 years experience in the finance and accounting fields, having worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and GraceKennedy, prior to joining First Global in 2001. She has a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of the West Indies (Mona) and is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ). She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA with the Florida International University.


Jason Chambers

Vice President - Investments

Known for his expertise in the area of trading in emerging market debt, in particular, Caribbean and Latin American sovereign issues, Jason Chambers was formerly Bond Trading Manager at Guardian Asset Management Jamaica Limited. He is particular very strong in the trading of high grade U.S. agency issues, various derivative instruments, and the formulating of successful strategies for both proprietary and managed fixed income portfolios. Mr. Chambers received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies and Economics from the University of the West Indies and has continued to build on his professional development and technical expertise through pursuit of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation. He is currently a Level 2 candidate in the CFA program where his studies include fixed income and equity investments analysis, derivative investments, portfolio management, and alternative international investments.

Marcia Henry

Vice President - Human Resources

Ms. Henry is the Vice President of the Human Resources Department at First Global. She has had over 17 years of experience as an HR specialist with companies such as Trevor Hamilton & Associates; Life of Jamaica (LOJ); Insurance Company of the West Indies (ICWI); National Water Commission (NWC); Air Jamaica Holdings Ltd; and Guardian Life Limited. Ms. Henry has an M.Sc. (Distinction) in Human Resource Development and a B.Sc. (Hon.) in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies, Mona.


Lancelot Green

Vice President - Management Information Systems (MIS)

Mr. Green is the Vice President of the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department. He has been in the Financial Services sector for approximately six years, including positions held with Island Victoria Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Bahamian Government (as a Consultant) and Life of Jamaica. Mr. Green attained an MBA from Columbia University in New York.


Janice Robinson-Longmore

Vice President - Funds Administration

Janice Robinson-Longmore is a chartered financial analyst with over fifteen years of knowledge and experience in banking and investment as well as regulatory compliance. As the Vice President for Funds Administration, Mrs. Longmore' main responsibilities includes the establishing and administering of the suite of collective investments inclusive of Mutual Fund Products, Pension and GK Funds, and Unit Trusts to ensure a reasonable return on investments whilst deepening client relationships. In addition, she is charged with ensuring the effective and complete execution of FGFS' policies as formulated by the Board of Directors, and that the operational support service is in keeping with the company's service standards.

Prior to working with FGFS, Mrs. Longmore worked with the Bank of Nova Scotia in such capacities as Vice President and General Manager of Scotia Jamaica Investment Management Limited. Among her many achievements there was the introduction of a group of Mutual Funds which became a major product offering of the company. She also worked with the Royal Bank of Canada in Alberta, Canada where her analytical skills, among others was honed. In 1987, Mrs. Longmore achieved a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and in 1994, she received her Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada.


 Chorvelle Johnson

Vice President – Business Development

Known for her keen business acumen and determination to succeed, Chorvelle Johnson joined the First Global family in February 2009.

Formerly Branch Manager of Dehring Bunting & Golding (DB&G) Mandeville and later elevated to the position Vice President Southern Region where, she successfully grew the company’s market share through excellent leadership and strong emphasis on customer service.

Johnson was appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales & Service in the entity ScotiaDBG Investments (formerly DB&G) where she was in charge of driving sales Island wide and building and sustaining customer relationships.
As Vice President - Business Development at FGFS, Johnson will have overall responsibility for business development and client relationship management both locally and regionally.

Lancelot Anderson

Vice President - Risk Management & Compliance

Mr. Anderson is the Vice President of the Risk Management and Compliance Department with First Global. He has over 25 years of experience in banking and the financial services sector having worked with the Jamaica National Building Society, Workers Savings and Loan Bank, Mutual Security Bank, National Commercial Bank and Guardian Asset Management. Mr. Anderson has an M.Sc. in Accounting and a B.Sc. in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA).


 Marie Hunte

Marie Hunte

Vice President - Operations

Ms. Marie Hunte is vice president in charge of operations for the First Global Group. In this capacity, she is responsible for defining and documenting all operational policies and procedures throughout FG. This responsibility includes: developing methods to control and mitigate specific components of operational risk including codifying the related policies and processes, management of internal controls, loss management and prevention, analysing FGB’s and FGFS’ operations to identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of business processes and lead in the implementation of these process improvement initiatives.

Ms. Hunte has had over 30 years experience at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) where her posts included teller, manager, user support, project leader, senior application consultant and business architect. She has a Bachelors of Business Administration (Hons.) from Atlantic Union College, Massachusetts, U.S.A. and a MSc. in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
